To be quite honest, I wasn’t familiar with Camilla until recently. Her look is striking and her fashion sense is impeccable. The good thing about her, like any great muse, is that she knows how to dress to compliment her “look”. Perhaps it comes from her Brazilian mother, ex-fashion designer Cristina Routh. Her reputation as a fashionista has over-shadowed Camilla the actress, as she’s constantly spotted in show-stopping dresses at fashion events.  See for yourself what all the rave is about.

I was looking through my swipe files and there has always been a few swipes I treasure use constantly for inspiration.. turns out they’re both from Hugo Boss’s Orange label, Spring/Summer 2006 and Fall/Winter 2006. Definitely worth noting:

The campaign director made the perfect couple for this ad campaign. They’re both layered, edgy, wearable, and cohesive. Love.

From a music producer named Braxton Nations, and a vintage store owner named Turya Nations comes the new LA-friendly clothing line called Guy Baxter. It offers vintage silhouettes with a modern twist on fabrics, and reintroduces the free spirit of the 80’s to the refined ladies of today. Described as the “burgeoning L.A. cult line” by Elle Magazine, this brand was only launched in the Spring of 2007, and is already aiming to open its store doors on January 15th. I’m eager to see how it does..
