From One Rad To Another..

If you haven’t figured it out by now, the undertone to my personal style and the nucleus from which my designs all radiate is my fascination with androgyny. That is precisely why my recent discovery of designer Rad Hourani was one of the most exciting in my fashion blogging career. Apparently, I’m a bit late in the andro-designer game because Hourani is already one of the most critically acclaimed designers of our day. He has had no traditional schooling in fashion design and his collections are “asexual and aseasonal” as he calls them. And quite frankly, he makes my dreams of girly men in black leather pants, and beautiful albino-like models dressed in stark black silhouettes come to life. From his “boy heels” to his muses and/or fanatics (ie. male model Charles Guislain whom I frantically ran into on a brief trip to Paris recently!) he’s fascinating all-around. In his own words:
